Our customer out in shoreline owns a photography studio and made this time lapse of us taking down his massive Douglas fir tree with our tracked lift. There were high voltage wires on 2 sides of the tree and a row of nice madrona trees underneath the tree that needed to be avoided so every piece had to be roped safely out of the tree. Some of the scaffold branches and co-dominant leaders up in the canopy were large trees on their own. The tree had a diameter at the base of 41″ and went up 86′ high with a spread of about 60′. Luckily we were able to get our lift into his back yard and up close to the base of the tree.
